What it is

A single Node script with no dependencies beyond Node itself. Point it at a file you downloaded and the manifest that came with it: it recomputes the checksum and checks the signature, then tells you plainly whether the file is the one map.ca published. It never touches the network, so it runs on a machine that is offline — and you can read the whole thing in a few minutes to see exactly what it does.
